Bananas FBA collects the following information to provide behavioral assessment services:
All data is transmitted over encrypted connections (HTTPS/TLS). Assessment data is stored in a secure PostgreSQL database. Audio recordings are stored in Google Cloud Storage with access restricted to authenticated users. Signed URLs for audio playback expire after 30 minutes.
Audio recording is optional for all assessments. When enabled, recordings are uploaded to Google Cloud Storage and processed by Google Speech-to-Text for automatic transcription. Recordings and transcripts are associated only with your account and the relevant student assessment.
Your data is private to your account. Only you can view assessments, student profiles, recordings, and transcripts associated with your account. We do not share, sell, or provide your data to third parties for marketing or advertising purposes.
Bananas FBA is designed to support compliance with the Family Educational Rights and Privacy Act (FERPA). Student education records entered into this app remain under the control of the educational agency or institution. We act as a school official with a legitimate educational interest when providing this service under an agreement with your institution.
Your data is retained for as long as your account is active. You may request deletion of your account and all associated data by contacting us. Upon deletion, all student profiles, assessments, recordings, and transcripts will be permanently removed.

By using Bananas FBA, you agree to use the app solely for lawful purposes related to Applied Behavior Analysis assessments. You are responsible for obtaining any required consent before recording individuals. You agree not to enter false or misleading information into student profiles. Bananas FBA is provided "as is" without warranties of any kind.
